About Us

ASSIST was developed by a team of educational practitioners who fully understand the needs of an academic institution – the required administrative processes, curriculum programming options, and student and staff management, as well as the processes of accreditation preparation and continued accreditation compliance.

Through supporting our school partners both in the US and internationally, the team at ASSIST LLC has developed a single program that manages LMS, SIS and CMS applications in a single, widely comprehensive program.

Beginning in 2013, we strategically designed and built components that would work together to capture and manage all information that we knew was relevant to the educational workplace and their students. We did not decipher between SIS and LMS features, we built them as part of a single platform knowing that any academic program would need both.

Additionally, our clients wanted a way to manage digital content, develop and host their own, or purchase from the variety of suppliers in the industry. The decision was made to implement our own SCORM compliant server in ASSIST. This would allow for seamless open content integration with 3rd party content providers, thus giving our clients their own CMS functionality without leaving the ASSIST platform.

ASSIST, LLC as a company is comprised of K12 educators with advanced degrees, university registrars, and post-secondary faculty members that combine the understanding of broad range educational requirements in all levels of schooling. Our team is rounded out with a technical team that is available for technical customer support, additional function build out, API and content integration.

As a team, we are very proud of ASSIST and what it can do to streamline school wide administrative processes. Our plan is to cost effectively share with the industry our comprehensive solution and make a significant difference for educators, and academic programs everywhere.

Education Implementation Specialist

With over 2 million K-12 schools worldwide, this creates a significantly large TAM which ASSIST LLC will focus on via its OEM, distribution and reseller partners.

ASSIST LLC is seeking an Education Implementation Specialist with experience in the SIS, SMS and / or LMS segments of K – 20. Working closely with the ASSIST team, the Education Implementation Specialist will be responsible for teaching, creating, delivering professional development and training on ASSIST best practices with school leaders to effectively implement ASSIST programs in school districts and other educational settings. This role will work as part of a team to develop, schedule, organize, and deliver quality implementation consulting and project management services and lead professional development projects.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to):

  • Design, author and edit new and existing professional learning content for both in-person and online delivery.
  • Manage planning and logistics of on-site and remote training and conduct in-person and remote training sessions on ASSIST programs. Train and manage a team of consultant trainers.
  • Support the planning and lead the implementation of ASSIST programs; act as the primary liaison between a partnered school district and ASSIST LLC main office HQ
  • Provide best practice quality implementation training and professional learning
  • Provide key support to the ASSIST Education initiatives.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Passion for and commitment to the mission of ASSIST LLC
  • Demonstrated presentation and communication skills to a variety of different audiences.
  • Experience in partnership relationship management and project management.
  • Experience in a K-12 education setting
  • Experience building and delivering professional development programs
  • Demonstrated ability to interact comfortably with internal and external stakeholders of all levels and backgrounds
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  • Willingness to travel nationwide > 30%
  • Remote position reporting to the Director of Education with flexible location

Sales and Channel Manager

The Sales and Channel Manager will be responsible for setting and meeting channel sales objectives for an assigned territory by promoting and selling the ASSIST platform and related solutions through professional sales techniques. This person must poses industry knowledge of the SIS, LMS and CMS market segments and understand how to sell solutions through a channel to school districts. The Sales and Channel Manager will spend the majority of the role in field developing and cultivating prospects, moving them through the sales process and closing new business.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to):

  • Identify, qualify, close and manage, opportunities and accounts, including Schools and School Districts through channel partners, as well as and other targeted geographies and education sectors.
  • Respond to incoming inquiries, qualify leads, and close deals while all tracking in company CRM
    Identify, qualify, and manage channel accounts such strategic channel partners and content partnerships.
  • Manage existing channel partner relationships and define and execute strategies for growth
    Define target partner criteria and articulate mutual value of potential partnerships from both channel partner and ASSIST perspectives
  • Work with channel accounts to vet their customer base for logical targets and develop joint sales plans and co-marketing programs
    Develop deep understanding of ASSIST product offering and processes impacting procurement and product delivery
  • Shepherd development of proposals to potential partners and clients
    Identify level of investment required to make channel partners successful and liaise between channel partner and ASSIST LLC, marketing, and design teams
  • Represent ASSIST LLC at relevant industry conferences, tradeshows and workshops.

SPECIFIC SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • 8+ years of related B2B sales, business development, consulting or account management experience
  • BA/BS degree minimum
  • Detail-oriented individual with excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Excellent self-motivation, organizational skills, and comfort working in a collaborative, team-oriented sales team
  • Experience in K-20 SIS, LMS and / or CMS market segments
  • Experience with public and private, K-20 procurement processes preferred
  • Expert in using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM, experience using other valuable sales tools a plus
  • Roughly 50% travel
